Legal Executive Apprenticeship
Job Description
Will and Probate Services are searching for their next team member. We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team of Will Writers and Probate Practitioners to deliver industry-leading service to our clients.
Your Responsibilities
You will assist the existing team in an administrative capacity, you will answer the telephone, book client consultations and direct enquiries to the relevant team members. You will also deal with outgoing and incoming post. You will also assist the team with producing legal documents to a high standard of accuracy.
You will support our franchisees and answer their questions, or ensure that their questions are answered by our technical team.
We are a small tight-knit team, you will need to muck in and be a real team player. We work hard but we enjoy ourselves. The atmosphere in the office is friendly and relaxed, but we know when to be professional.
You need to be able to express yourself well and should be confident. You will be speaking to clients, franchisees and other professionals. You should be unafraid of the telephone and your written English should be of a high standard.
The Candidate
You will be flexible and adaptable; this role will develop as we grow as a firm. So, in the early stages you will be getting involved with a whole host of activities to grow the business.
In the initial phase of your training, you will be following the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) Level 3 Apprenticeship. This involves one day per week at college and the rest of the time spent in the office. On completion of your level 3 qualification, you will then hopefully move onto the more advanced level 6 qualifications and specialise as a Probate Practitioner and obtain your practice rights from CILEx.
We have a successful track record of apprenticeships. You will be learning from people who have been through or are going through the same qualifications. Administrative Assistant
Job Description

Your Responsibilities
will include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting consultants and franchisees
- Document production (Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney)
- Manage client files
- Use of case management software
- Receptionist duties
- Organising client meetings
- General administrative duties
The Candidate
A hard-working person with experience working within a small professional team. We are looking for a team player with a can-do attitude. Knowledge of the law surrounding Wills and Probate would be an advantage. You must be IT proficient and past experience using case management systems would be advantageous. Conscientious with an eye for detail, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You will be flexible and adaptable – this role will develop as we grow as a firm. So, in the early stages you will be getting involved with a whole host of activities supporting either our probate team or our legal document production team.
